Happy October Families!
I hope all of you are enjoying the fall weather and autumn festivities. Please make sure to remind your children to come to school with fleeces, jackets or coats to wear during recess. It is chilly to be outside without. Tomorrow is Grandparents, Grand-Friends and VIP’s day. We are excited to meet and see everyone. It is sure to be a memorable and blessed day. Next week, our upper school students will be taking the first Aspire Interim test. They will be done electronically and the session last 40 minutes. Please make sure your child gets a goodnight’s sleep and a hearty breakfast. To support our 8th graders taking their Constitution Test, all students and staff will have a Red, White and Blue themed spirit wear. The deadline for greenery orders has been extended to tomorrow, October 18th. Make sure to get them in! Congratulations to our 6th grade Quiz Bowl team for their first competition in DePaul College Prep’s Academic Bowl this past Wednesday. Lastly, we have a lot of festivities happening on campus on evening of Friday, October 25th. MS will have their Halloween Dance in Beaven from 6 - 8pm. After the dance, students can walk over to enjoy our student ran haunted house - Fright Walk. Lastly, adults can attend the Gala Attic Afterparty. For more info, read the Buzz. MS families make sure to register for your child’s Agora. The registration deadline is Monday, October 28th! Let me know if you have any questions regarding this or need support. Please take the time to read the appropriate section for your child’s grade level i.e Intermediate (4-5) and/or Middle School (6-8) as well as check out the Important Dates to Remember.
Many blessings to you all as always.
