Parent Workshops at SBPS with DePaul University - RISE TOGETHER!

We invite all school families to join us in the following Parent Education Workshops - Families RISE Together, facilitated by Dr. Molly Cinnamon from DePaul University. Both sessions will be VIRTUAL for convenience. Each session is different, so parents and caregivers are encouraged to attend both if possible. However, if you can only attend one, that is also fine.

DePaul has been training our teachers on the RISE protocol - Reflection, Inquiry, Self-Awareness and Empathy. The goal is to empower teachers with faith-rooted tools for building stronger relationships with students, communicating with greater intention, and creating a classroom community where every child feels known and supported.

Now, we are offering parent workshops to help parents use similar tools at home.

Both Sessions will be offered via ZOOM - Please save the date.
