1st Year Confirmation Candidates and Sponsors Retreat 2025 - 2026

Dear Parents and Sponsors,

We are excited to invite all 1st Year Confirmation Candidates and their Sponsors to our upcoming Confirmation Retreat—a special time for reflection, guidance, and spiritual preparation. Sponsors are strongly encouraged to attend with their candidate. If a sponsor is unable to join, a parent must accompany the student to the retreat.

Please note: Attendance at the retreat is mandatory for all Confirmation candidates. This is an essential part of your Confirmation journey.

Why is this retreat important?

This retreat provides a unique opportunity to deepen your faith, strengthen your connection with your sponsor, and prepare spiritually for the sacrament of Confirmation. Your participation ensures you receive the full experience and support needed for this important milestone.

Candidate and Sponsor Retreat I or II (pick one)

Retreat I:

Start at 10:00 am until 2:00 pm with Mass at 1:00 pm, all family members are invited to attend Mass. We'll all walk over to the Church together at 12:40 p.m.

Location:

Heidenreich Hall/Cafeteria, enter the building at 3911 N. Bell St. (2nd floor)

Retreat II:

Start at 1:00 pm until 5:00 pm, starting with Mass at 1:00 pm, all family members are invited to attend Mass. Meet at Church at 12:50 pm.

Location:

St Benedict Parish, after Mass, we will walk over to Heidenreich Hall/Cafeteria.

Mass attendance is part of the retreat experience and not optional.
