Growing up and throughout my life, I have been drawn to the outdoors. My dad took all of us camping and fishing and hiking from the time we were able to walk. The love of the outdoors has stuck with me and I try to instill that with my own children. I have hiked hundreds of miles on the Appalachian Trail including 60 miles two years ago with AGORA. I have spent countless hours on various rivers and streams and lakes.
So, in an effort to impart that knowledge and continue the tradition that my dad started with me, I am offering a new Outdoor Adventure Club to the 8th grade class at St. Ben’s. I am planning to incorporate a canoe trip, a backpacking trip and an extended trip to the Boundary Waters in June.

This means that teachers will not be seeing any students before school for tutoring, reassessments or tutoring Friday Mornings this year. This does not alter the normal arrival times. This is only for students that plan to come in "early" to see the teacher. This time is dedicated to teacher collaboration and innovation. Thanks for your support!
