Next time you’re on the Block keep a look out for Tiny Doors!
Inspired by contemporary artist, Karen Anderson of Atlanta, this artwork was created by our 8th Grade art students who’ve been working in 3D design concepts.
Students were charged with creating miniature doors with a specific theme - and in many cases the doors design ‘fit’ the placement. Art Teacher Jackie Stancin is very proud of her students, who joined St. Ben’s at the same time as many of these students when they were in first grade. “This art is unexpected, inconspicuous - it blends into the environment -and it’s beautiful.
Once the tiny doors were complete, the students placed the 26 pieces around the campus. See how many you can spot!
