St. Benedict Preparatory School offers a diverse and personalized culture for students, enabling them to join clubs and extracurricular activities to develop their interests and future goals. Students have the opportunity to become leaders and excel in activities that fit them best. Take a look below at some of the current clubs active at SBPS. FLOW Have you ever felt your inner creativity glowing and feeling the need to let it go? Are you grabbing for a pencil and pad/ falling short / feeling bad/ of what you could of wrote, if only you had/ a place to let it FLOW? Join FLOW, a creativity space to write poetry, verse, rap, stories, create art, sing, discuss ideas, move, share, talk, perform, be inspired and grow! MATH TEAM meets weekly to discuss advanced problems and techniques of mathematics. The purpose of the club is to refine skills and generate interest in mathematics. NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY (NHS) is the nation's premier organization established to recognize outstanding high school students. More than just an honor roll, NHS serves to honor those students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of Scholarship, Leadership, Service and Character. There are a variety of events and fundraisers throughout the school year that NHS students run.
Students must have a 3.5 G.P.A. and approval by NHS Faculty Council to join. Invitations to join NHS are given towards the end of each school year and the Induction Ceremony takes place at the annual Honors Ceremony. Once a member, students are expected to attend meetings and activities, maintain 3.5 G.P.A., actively participate, and complete 40 hours of community service each school year.
General meetings are held every other Thursday morning at 7:30 a.m. in room 221, but there are also additional meetings and events that students will attend throughout the school year when the occasion arises. Moderator: Ms. Zora Voynovich firstname.lastname@example.org
NEWSPAPER CLUB Extra! Extra! Read all about it! Do you have a knack for writing, photography, and creative design on the computer? Do you want to voice your opinions in an advice column or report the news and events around the block? If so, we want you! There are many different aspects of the newspaper and the staff meets on Mondays and Wednesdays from3:20-4 pm in room 325.
PEP CLUB Students of any year can join Pep Club! We are the School Spirit Club, encouraging all students to bleed the maroon and gold colors of St. Benedict Prep! SERVICE CLUB meets the first and third Tuesday of the month after school in Room 349. It is a chance for students to serve their community with their fellow classmates.
SING IT! A Premiere Karaoke Club where you can hang out with old friends, meet new ones and just sing. “Here is a little song I wrote You might want to sing it note for note Don't worry be happy....” Now that I got you singing, bring you and your friends to Sing IT! STUDENT COUNCIL is the high school’s largest club with representatives from each class!.We are looking for students who are dedicated, organized, and full of fantastic ideas to share with the school! Student Council consists of elected Executive Board members as well as Class Officers from each grade level. Student Council Representatives give feedback about major activities.

YEARBOOK CLUB Students of any grade level are more than welcome to join Yearbook! Yearbook Club meets once a week throughout the year to capture all the moments at St. Benedict Prep.
