Brookfield Zoo Field Trip - Wednesday, May 16 will be our last field trip for this school year. All of the preschool students will be going to the Brookfield Zoo. The children must come dressed in their yellow field trip t-shirts and pack a completely disposable, peanut-free lunch. Please note that pick-up on this day will most likely be around 1:00-1:15. Please be sure to sign and return your child's permission slip. If you have any questions, please see your child's teacher.
Warm Weather Wear! - As the temperatures begin to get warmer and warmer we have a few clothing reminders for preschoolers and their families. Please make sure that your child is wearing a shoe that has a back on it and that the shoe is appropriate for running and climbing. Flip flops should NOT be worn in preschool. Spaghetti strap style tops/dresses are also NOT to be worn. Please put a t-shirt underneath or sweater over such dresses or tops. Girls should also remember to wear shorts or leggings underneath skirts and dresses. If you have any questions about the warm weather dress code, please see your child's teacher or Ms. Waldron.
Last day of preschool - I can't believe that it's May! Summer will be here before we know it! The last day of preschool this year will be Tuesday, June 5. This will be a 12:20 dismissal for all students. There will be NO after care on this date. We would also like to invite families to join us for lunch at 11:30 on the last day of school as we say farewell to the 2011-12 school year. If you have any questions, please see your child's teacher.
Summer Camp at St. Benedict Prep - St. Benedict will offer summer camp for preschool students this summer from June 18 through August 3. For more information see the camp flyer and registration forms. Please contact Ms. Waldron with any summer camp questions.
Special Pick-up Instructions - If someone special will be picking your child up from school, please be sure to make a note of this on the "Special Instruction Sheet" at the front desk and notify Ms. Barb. If there is an emergency situation, please place a phone call to Ms. Barb to let her know of the arrangements and be sure to notify the person picking up your child that he/she will need to present a photo id at the time of pick up.
Extra Clothes Bin- Please take time to check your child's extra clothes bin to be sure contains weather appropriate clothing that still fits your child!
Early Dismissal - Please note that each Tuesday pick-up is at 2:00, not 2:45 as it is the other days of the week.
