Our class won a Barnes and Noble gift card for raising the most amount of money during the first week of collections.

Show and Share

Welcome to Show and Share in Room 111!  This is an exciting time for your child to bring something in that hat has meaning to them or their family.  There are just a few rules that go with show and share.  Please only bring one object when it is your scheduled day.  I would prefer for this object to not be too large because we will have no where to store it.  If your child wants to bring in a living thing (pet, person, bug) please ask before the day they wish to share for approval.

Please have your child prepare three clues about their object. We will have the class guess the object before your child shares it.

If there are holidays or fieldtrips please have your child bring their object the next time they come to school (ex.  If we had no school Monday please bring your object Tuesday, if you are not in school Tuesday bring it Wednesday etc.)

Thank you so much for your cooperation and participation.  I cannot wait to see what your child brings in.

Valentines Day

We will be celebrating Valentine’s Day on Tuesday, February 14th.  We will not be having a “party”, but your child is allowed, but not required, to bring Valentines to pass out. Please do not mark individual names on the valentines. Instead you may write:

To: My Friend

From: Name of student giving out the Valentine

This will help cut down on time and confusion. If your child is handing out Valentines, he/she must have one for every child in the classroom

We Love Our Moms Breakfast

We are inviting all moms (or special friends) to join us for muffins, crafts, and a special song.

Date: Wednesday, February 15th

Time: 8:15-9:00

Place: Our classroom (Room 111)

If you have any questions, please feel free to email me.
