3 Trimesters - 1.5 Credit
Prerequisites: PreCalculus and Teacher recommendation
Course Description: This course will provide students with a solid conceptual and methodological foundation of the calculus of a single variable. In this class, students will expand upon their knowledge of functions through the calculations of limits, derivatives, and anti-derivatives (integrals). They will also use these calculations to solve real-world problems relating to science and business. One of the primary objectives is to help students understand calculus at a conceptual level, so that they are able to apply it in multiple contexts.
